• You’re able to interpret a client’s vision and style, then deliver something even better than they imagined.

What you bring to the table:

• At least 1-2 years of professional interior design experience (residential or commercial)
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with clients virtually
• A self-starter mindset—you’re excited to grow your own brand, portfolio, and income
• Comfort using digital platforms to manage design work and client communication
• A love for creating beautiful, functional spaces for a variety of styles and budgets

A few other details:

• This is a freelance opportunity—you run your own business, set your rates, and use Smply as your platform
• Designers must provide their own equipment and be able to video chat with clients
• You’ll go through a short onboarding to learn the platform before working with clients
• Smply Designers are independent contractors and must be based in the United States and work 100% remotely.
• You’ll need access to your own computer and reliable internet
• We maintain high standards to ensure every client gets a consistent, high-quality experience — and we support you with a streamlined platform, designer community, and ongoing resources.
• Compensation is paid per project, and you control your schedule.
