Job summary

Fripp Island Golf & Beach Resort and its resort landscaping program are seeking a dedicated Landscaper to care for the resort grounds and homes on-site. You will help maintain plant growth, cleanliness of outdoor facilities and pruning of hedges.

Primary duties include mowing, edging, mulching, planting beds, trimming trees and hedges, and ensuring a pleasant appearance across the property. This is a full-time, on-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to stand, sit and/or walk a minimum of 12 hours daily.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Mowing, edging, and watering lawns.
• Weeding, mulching, and planting landscape beds.
• Trimming and removing trees, hedges, shrubs and other plants.
• Perform general maintenance duties such as clearing walkways, decks, and driveways.
• Ensure grounds are free of weeds and dead plants.
• Monitor property grounds to ensure a pleasant appearance.

Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to care and maintain the resort grounds and homes on the resort landscaping program. The landscaping staff is responsible for ensuring plant growth, cleanliness of outdoor facilities and pruning of hedges.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Mowing, edging, and watering lawns.
• Weeding, mulching, and planting landscape beds.
• Trimming and removing trees, hedges, shrubs and other plants.
• Perform general maintenance duties such as clearing walkways, decks, and driveways.
• Ensure grounds are free of weeds and dead plants.
• Monitor property grounds to ensure a pleasant appearance.
• Grade and prepare planting beds, lay sod, plant materials and seed.
• Perform daily maintenance on all equipment used according to the established maintenance schedule.
• Operate company trucks and equipment in compliance with established safety procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
