Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in Appleton, WI is seeking motivated outdoor laborers to build and maintain landscapes, patios, and hardscape features. You will operate equipment, assist with site prep, and help keep projects on schedule in a varied outdoor environment.

Weekly pay, vision/medical plans, a 401(k) plan, and referral bonuses are offered. Valid driver’s license and reliable attendance are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Experience building outdoor living spaces is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and install outdoor living spaces, including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and landscape features.
• Perform lawn installation and maintenance tasks, including grading, seeding, and sod installation.
• Plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and other landscape materials according to project plans.
• Load, unload, and transport landscaping materials, tools, and equipment to job sites.
• Operate landscaping equipment and use hand tools safely and effectively.
• Assist with site preparation, material placement, and project cleanup.
• Drive company vehicles to and from job sites as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work collaboratively with crew members to complete projects on schedule.

Hours

Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 5:30pm

Pay

$18.00 - $20.00/HR

Duties

• Build and install outdoor living spaces, including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and landscape features.

• Strong work ethic and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.


• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull landscaping materials and equipment throughout the workday.


• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
