Job summary

BrightView is seeking a Landscaper I to provide landscape maintenance support for a variety of properties. You will operate commercial landscaping equipment, maintain plant material, and assist with routine upkeep.

Responsibilities include turf mowing, edging, shrub pruning, planting, and debris removal. Must be physically able to lift up to 40 lbs and work outdoors in extreme conditions. Training and safety gear provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Enthusiastic and dependable.
• Ability to safely operate landscape equipment (power saws, cutters).
• Certified on Level 1 equipment (backpack blower, edger, string trimmer, walk-behind mower).
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance operations/practices.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf with power mowers, trim and edge with gas-powered tools, blow/clear debris.
• Prune shrubs and low trees to improve shape and health.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Operate edging/trimming equipment along edges and structures.
• Maintain equipment and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
