Job summary

Ruppert Landscape offers a 10-12-week Landscape Maintenance Internship that combines hands-on field training with mentorship and exposure to multiple branches of the business. You will work alongside crews, shadow key departments, and participate in projects that build practical skills in landscape production and branch operations.

Interested students pursuing degrees in horticulture, turf management, agribusiness, or related fields will gain real-world experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Actively pursuing a degree in horticulture, turf management, agribusiness, business/operations management, construction management, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented, customer-focused industry mindset and willingness to support diverse operational needs.
• Comfortable working in both office and outdoor field environments.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on field training across multiple areas of field operations.
• Job shadowing with Field Operations, Irrigation, Enhancements, Sales, and Branch Leadership.
• Dedicated mentorship and ongoing feedback for professional development.
• Exposure to team-building, professional etiquette, communication, and leadership practices.
• Collaborative projects with fellow interns and department teams.
• Final internship presentation highlighting experiences, projects, and skills learned.
