Ruppert Landscape offers a 10-12-week Landscape Maintenance Internship designed to provide hands-on field experience and a broad view of branch operations. You will work with crews and observe multiple departments to gain real-world industry exposure.

The program emphasizes mentorship, professional development, and networking, with opportunities to explore future roles and potential full-time employment after graduation. The internship runs 10–12 weeks and pays hourly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Actively pursuing a degree in Horticulture, Turf Management, Agribusiness, Business Management, Operations Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to support a variety of operational needs in a team-oriented, customer-focused industry.
• Comfortable working in both office and outdoor field environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as part of routine duties.
• Proficient with computers and MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Participate in hands-on field training across multiple areas of field operations.
• Shadow teams in Field Ops, Irrigation, Enhancements, Sales, and Branch Leadership.
• Receive dedicated mentorship and regular feedback on your progress.
• Develop leadership, etiquette, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Contribute to meaningful projects and collaborate with fellow interns.
• Build professional networks within Ruppert Landscape.
• End-of-program presentation highlighting field experiences and projects.
