Job summary

Elevation Outdoors in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Landscape Maintenance Crew Member to join our outdoor-focused maintenance team. You will perform mowing, edging, trimming, mulching, pruning, and planting on commercial properties, keeping sites clean and safe.

Ideal candidates may have landscaping experience; training is provided. You’ll operate mowers, blowers, and trimmers, work up to 10 hours daily, and start as early as 6:00 am.

Qualifications

• Previous landscaping experience is a plus, but not required — we’ll train the right person.
• Familiarity with landscape equipment (mowers, blowers, string trimmers, etc.)
• Reliable, punctual, able to follow directions and willingness to learn
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability
• Reliable transportation to our shop
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions for up to 10 hours per day.
• Reporting times can begin as early as 6:00 am.
• Additional hourly pay with a Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Performing landscape maintenance such as mowing, edging, trimming, mulching, pruning, and planting
• Maintaining clean and safe job sites at all times
• Assisting with loading/unloading equipment and maintaining tools
• Following instructions from Crew Leaders and supporting the crew’s overall efficiency
• Occasionally helping on enhancement or landscape construction projects
