Job summary

Elevation Outdoors is seeking a Landscape and Mowing Production Manager in Knoxville, TN to oversee daily operations for commercial and residential clients. This on-site role involves scheduling crews, coordinating equipment, and ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in every task.

You will communicate with clients and teams, review job specs, resolve field issues, and drive productivity improvements while supporting training and performance feedback for the crews.

Qualifications

• Experience managing landscape, mowing, or grounds maintenance crews, including scheduling, supervision, and field coordination.
• Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, turf care, irrigation basics, and safe operation of mowing and landscaping equipment.
• Ability to plan and organize daily routes, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Effective communication skills for working with crew members, management, and clients, including clear instructions and professional customer service.
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams, support training, and reinforce a safety-focused, respectful work environment.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions and performing physical tasks as needed to support crews.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record; ability to drive company vehicles and tow equipment trailers as required.
• Previous experience in commercial or residential landscaping or grounds management; supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Basic proficiency with mobile apps or software for scheduling, time tracking, and reporting is beneficial.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or industry certifications in landscaping or lawn care are a plus.
