Job summary

Ruppert Landscape Co. invites motivated students to join our Landscape Install Internship for a hands-on, 10–12 week program. You will gain experience in field operations, shadow various teams, and receive dedicated mentorship to build practical skills and industry knowledge.

The role emphasizes teamwork, personal growth, and real-world projects with opportunities for networking and future employment. Expect a field-focused schedule with some time in office settings and occasional off-site

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Candidates actively pursuing a degree in related fields.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in a team-oriented, customer-focused industry.
• Comfortable working in both office and outdoor field environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proficient with MS Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on field training across multiple areas of field operations.
• Job shadowing with Project Management, Estimating, Sales, and Operations.
• Dedicated mentorship guiding progress and professional development.
• Management and leadership development through team building and professional etiquette.
• Collaborative team environment contributing to meaningful projects and intern learning.
• Professional networking with peers, mentors, and leaders within Ruppert Landscape.
• Interns may choose department training at program end.
• Final presentation of internship experiences, lessons learned, and skills developed.
