Job summary

Borst Landscape & Design in Allendale, NJ, seeks a Landscape Designer/Sales Associate to meet with clients, craft detailed CAD designs, and generate new business. You will manage projects from concept through installation, balancing aesthetics with budget and regulations.

The ideal candidate has strong plant knowledge, CAD skills, and a track record in residential landscape design. Travel and local meetings with clients are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on residential landscape design experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of Adobe Suite, SketchUp, and Lumion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present conceptual and schematic designs for residential landscapes.
• Prepare plans and renderings using CAD and design software.
• Generate new business through networking and referrals.
• Collaborate with construction team to ensure design accuracy.
• Assist with permits and local approvals.
• Support marketing and business development initiatives.
