Job summary
Borst Landscape & Design in Allendale, NJ is seeking a Landscape Designer/Sales Associate to meet with clients, develop design concepts, and craft detailed CAD plans for residential landscapes.
The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in landscape architecture, at least 3 years’ design experience, strong plant knowledge, and proficiency in AutoCAD and design software; NJ driver’s license and travel are required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in residential landscape design.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD; knowledge of Adobe Suite, SketchUp, and Lumion is preferred.
- Strong portfolio of built residential or commercial landscape projects.
- Must have a valid NJ driver’s license and be comfortable with local travel.
Responsibilities
- Develop and present conceptual and schematic designs for construction site plans.
- Create graphics for residential landscapes using CAD and design software.
- Prepare documents, plans, and renderings for client communication.
- Generate new business opportunities through networking and marketing.
- Promote services and follow up on leads.
- Collaborate with construction team to ensure design accuracy in the field.
- Prepare documents for permits and local approvals.
- Contribute to marketing and business development initiatives.
