Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Landscape Design Coordinator in Omaha, NE to assist in developing site design projects from concept through construction documents.

You will support the Landscape Architect, perform site analysis, and help illustrate designs using hand-drawn and computer-rendered graphics. The role requires a Bachelor's in Landscape Architecture or Civil Engineering, plus AutoCAD and Adobe Photoshop proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Civil Engineering.
• AutoCAD, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel experience.
• Photoshop a plus.
• Ability to prepare site plans and understand the principles of grading and drainage.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist development of site design projects from concept to construction documents.
• Investigate variables including site analysis, building operation, vehicular and pedestrian traffic, site grading and storm drainage.
• Conduct site visits and analyses, and assist the project Landscape Architect with illustration of design using hand-drawn and computer-rendered graphics.
• Provide AutoCAD production support during concept and schematic design, design development, and construction document phases.
• Perform other duties as needed

Landscape Design Coordinator, we'll count on you to:

• Work under the direction of registered Landscape Architect to assist in development of site design projects, from concept design to construction documentation
• Understand that assignments have specified objectives and require investigation of many variables, including site analysis, building operation, vehicular and pedestrian traffic, site grading and storm drainage
• Conduct site visits and analyses, and assist the project Landscape Architect with illustration of design using combination of hand-drawn and computer-rendered graphics
• Provide AutoCAD production support during concept and schematic design, design development, and construction document phases
• Perform other duties as needed
