Job summary

HDR is seeking a Landscape Architect to contribute to site design from concept through contract documents, supporting resilient and sustainable communities. You will analyze sites, meet with clients, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams on project scales that impact public spaces and infrastructure.

Preferred candidates have 5+ years of experience, professional registration, and proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD and Photoshop, plus a strong understanding of grading and drainage within an

• Must have Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Civil Engineering.
• Must have professional registration.
• Experience with MS Office, AutoCAD and Photoshop.
• Able to prepare site plans and understand grading and drainage.

Responsibilities

• Develop site designs through contract document phases of projects
• Conduct site analysis to include building operation, vehicular and pedestrian circulation, site grading, storm drainage design and site amenities
• Meet with client representatives as needed
• Participate in reviews with various utilities and governing agencies for code compliance
• Conduct design development and contract document work sessions at project sites
• Coordinate workload to ensure deadlines are met, reviewing documents for all areas of conflict with all disciplines, writing and editing site design specifications, selecting landscape and paving materials, and preparing drawings as required
• Provide contract administration as needed
• Perform other duties as needed

In the role of Landscape Architect, we'll count on you to:

• A minimum of 5 years experience
• GIS knowledge helpful
