Landscaping By J. Michael in Marshfield, WI is seeking a talented Landscape Designer / Estimator to join our Marshfield office. You will blend design creativity with estimating, sales, and client relationships to move projects from concept to contract.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of industry experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong knowledge of hardscape construction. CAD and MS Office proficiency are required, with a valid driver’s license and a willingness to engage

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
• 3+ years of industry experience.
• 3–5 years of sales or client-facing project experience with strong closing track record.
• Strong knowledge of hardscape construction methods and materials.
• Proficient in CAD or similar design software and MS Office.
• Valid driver’s license; DOT Health Card or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand goals, needs, and project vision.
• Develop landscape design concepts and translate into proposals.
• Identify and pursue bidding opportunities with clients.
• Prepare and manage estimating and bidding schedules and meetings.
• Follow up on bids to secure work and maintain backlog.
• Visit job sites to ensure alignment with standards and expectations.
• Maintain client relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Assist with daily crew operations and support field work as needed.
• Participate in snow operations for year‑round work opportunities.
