Job summary

Landscaping by J. Michael in Marshfield is seeking an experienced Sales/Account Manager to join our team in the Marshfield office.

The ideal candidate brings account management experience and a track record of developing new business among existing and new customers. You will collaborate with customer service and product development to improve the overall customer experience, manage contracts, upsell, and ensure timely delivery of solutions aligned with client objectives.

Qualifications

2+ years account management experience in residential and commercial outdoor maintenance.
Bachelor degree preferred; associate degree in horticulture or environmental field considered.
MLP or MCH certification a plus.
Current pesticide applicator license preferred.
Experience in project assessment and estimates.
Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills.
Professional client interaction and negotiation skills.
Ability to juggle multiple account management projects with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related technologies.

Responsibilities

Oversee customer account management – Includes developing new business along with negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profits.
Collaborate cross-functionally – Work closely with the team to achieve goals while keeping clients satisfied and engaged with products and services.
Ensure delivery to customers - Facilitate the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
Sales - Ability to upsell and seek new opportunities for business with existing and new clients.
