Vivo Commercial Landscape is seeking a Crew Member for the Landscape Enhancement group in San Diego. This entry-level position offers hands-on learning in landscape installation, enhancement, irrigation support, and site care as part of a collaborative team.

You will work outdoors, follow safety directions, and gain practical skills while contributing to quality projects for commercial clients. Prior experience helps but is not required, and bilingual ability is welcomed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Help install and enhance landscapes at commercial client properties.
• Prepare work areas, remove debris, and organize materials for installation.
• Assist with planting trees and plants, trenching, irrigation support, and site care.
• Load, unload, move, and stage plants, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Use basic hand tools and small power equipment safely and learn additional equipment.
• Work with your crew to complete quality work safely, efficiently, and professionally.

San Diego based commercial landscape company is seeking an experienced Crew Member for our Landscape Enhancement group to join our growing team.

About the Position

Join Vivo Commercial Landscape as a Crew Member – Landscape Enhancement (Construction) and help transform and improve the outdoor spaces our clients rely on every day. This is an entry-level field opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, being outdoors, and learning practical landscaping skills as part of a team. You will work alongside experienced crew members and leaders while building your skills in landscape installation, enhancement, irrigation support, and site care.

• Help install and enhance landscapes at commercial client properties.
• Prepare work areas, remove debris, and organize materials for installation projects.
• Assist with planting trees and plants, trenching, irrigation support, and general groundskeeping.
• Load, unload, move, and stage plants, materials, tools, and equipment for daily work.
• Use basic hand tools and small power equipment safely, with opportunities to learn additional equipment as you are trained.
• Work with your crew to complete quality work safely, efficiently, and professionally.

Requirements

About You

You are dependable, ready to learn, and comfortable doing physical work outdoors. You take direction well, work safely, and enjoy contributing to a team. Previous landscaping experience is helpful, but it is not required - we are looking for people with a strong work ethic and a willingness to develop their skills.

• Entry-level candidates are welcome; though landscaping or outdoor labor experience is strongly preferred.
• Able to understand and follow work and safety directions in English or Spanish.
• Comfortable performing physical outdoor work, including standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching, and gripping.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and use safe lifting practices for heavier materials.
• Willing and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while using required PPE.
• Reliable, punctual, team-oriented, and receptive to coaching and feedback.
• A valid CA driver's license is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to use a tablet or smartphone with ease, for document review, time clock punches, etc.

About Benefits and Compensation

This position pays between $19.00 - $21.00 per hour, depending on experience.
