Smith Lawnscapes LLC is seeking a dependable Landscape Crew Leader to join our family‑oriented team in Michigan. You will lead a small crew, coordinate daily tasks, and ensure quality workmanship while maintaining safety standards.

This role requires landscape experience, leadership ability, a valid driver's license, and physical stamina for outdoor labor year‑round. CDL and chauffeur license are a plus, with opportunities for advancement and benefits including health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscape maintenance and installation practices.
• Ability to lead a crew of 2+ members.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical labor in various weather.
• Strong communication, time management and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate and train a landscape crew of 2+ crew members
• Coordinate and perform daily tasks that include planting, mulching, pruning, edging, stone work and more
• Ensure projects meets company quality and safety standards
• Communicate professionally with customers
• Track job progress and report completion, delays, or concerns
• Safely operate landscape tools and equipment
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Participate in snow removal operations during the winter

• Knowledge of landscape maintenance and installation practices
• Ability to operate landscape equipment safely
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• CDL desired, Chauffeur’sLicense a must
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs., bend, kneel, & perform physical labor
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills

Working Conditions:
