Job summary

City of Georgetown, TX is seeking a seasoned Project Manager with a background in landscape architecture to oversee multiple construction projects from planning through closeout. You will coordinate with contractors, consultants and city departments, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture, at least five years of project management experience and a minimum of three

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture or a related field.
Five (5) years of full-time progressively responsible project management experience.
Three (3) years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
Equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training accepted.

Responsibilities

Coordinates and leads various projects, trainings, and/or technical services.
Manages the selection process and administers consultant services; negotiates contract terms and fees.
Manages project budgets and schedules all phases from preliminary to post construction.
Monitors contracts and contractors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations; resolves conflicts.
Provides technical advice to City management and contractors.
