The City of Georgetown, Texas is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead complex construction and redevelopment initiatives from planning through closeout, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and quality results.
You will coordinate with engineers, contractors and city departments, develop estimates, manage contracts and schedules, review designs, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, reports, and public meetings.

Performs project management duties including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing phases of various projects. Serves as a liaison with contractors, consultants and other city departments.
Anticipated Start Date: On or after October 5, 2026.

Education, training and Experience Guidelines
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Architecture, Engineering or Construction
Five (5) years of full-time progressively responsible work experience in construction project management or performing duties consistent with the essential functions of this classification.
Three (3) years of the required experience must have been in a lead or supervisory capacity.
OR Any equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Valid Class "C" Texas driver’s license required.
Out-of-state license holders must have a valid license and provide a three-year driving history.
Standing, sitting, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, handling, performing fine motor tasks, crouching, and bending.
The role also requires adequate vision, hearing, and verbal communication. Candidates must be able to lift at least 25 pounds and be comfortable working at heights.
Hiring Range: $79,417.00 - $99,486.40, annually.
