Job summary

Piedmont Carolina is seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Operations Manager to take ownership of our installation projects in Colfax/Greensboro, NC. You will plan, schedule and lead crews, manage costs and communicate with clients throughout the build process.

You will drive continuous improvement, source plant material, and align operations with design and sales for a seamless client experience. A strong background in landscape construction and licensed practice is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in landscape construction or related field.
• Experience leading crews and multiple projects.
• Strong plant-material knowledge and understanding of installation practices.
• Experience reading landscape plans and working with materials and installation techniques.
• Strong scheduling, organization, problem-solving and customer communication skills.
• Comfort with project budgets and job costs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute landscape construction projects from handoff through final completion.
• Develop project schedules and coordinate crews, equipment, plant material, construction materials, vendors and subcontractors.
• Lead installation crews and crew leaders, including daily scheduling, field supervision, training, productivity, quality and safety.
• Review landscape plans and scopes; coordinate site preparation, utility locating and other preconstruction requirements.
• Work closely with nursery team to source Piedmont-grown plant material.
• Serve as the primary operational contact for customers during installation and manage changes.
