Job summary

Nature First Landscaping in Wake Forest, NC, is looking for an Landscaping Operations Manager. This full-time role manages daily field operations, schedules crews, oversees a shop location, and ensures work is completed to high quality and safety standards.

You will coordinate materials and equipment, communicate with clients about timelines and expectations, supervise performance, train staff, and partner with leadership on process improvements, budgeting, and resource planning.

Qualifications

• Former or current landscaping business owner preferred. We will buy out your existing route if you have one.
• 3+ years experience in landscape operations, including crew supervision, scheduling, and onsite project management.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance and installation practices, materials, equipment, and safety standards.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Ability to manage projects to be completed on time and profitably.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, team members, and vendors.
• Strong proficiency with CRMs, office and project management software for scheduling, reporting, and documentation.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including coaching team members and promoting a safe, respectful work environment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to job sites in and around Wake Forest, NC.
• Prior experience in landscaping, construction, or related fields; supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications in landscaping or horticulture are a plus.
