  • Review consultant design work and provide construction oversight on capital projects for the University Park and Commonwealth campuses.
  • Assist in the building site selection process related to the integration within the campus grounds, impacts on campus infrastructure, and impacts on the campus tree population.
  • Participate in master and unit-level precinct plans led by hired consultants or the University Planner.

Core duties include supporting senior landscape architects in managing aspects of the exterior campus environment through the development of long-range campus planning strategies, siting new buildings, developing site/design guidelines for capital projects, developing plans for small projects, implementing campus site furnishing, planting plans, lighting, and paving systems, advocating responsible stewardship of the land through sustainable design. Supervision will be received from the University Planner and other senior professionals within PDP.
