Summit County’s Lands & Natural Resources Division seeks a Program and Projects Administrator to manage grants, budgets, procurement, and community outreach in Park City, UT. You’ll support board meetings, volunteer programs, and contract administration while coordinating diverse open-space projects.

Ideal candidates have strong writing and public speaking skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and a genuine interest in land management and natural resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in forestry, ecology, biology, natural resources management, or related field.
• At least two years of administrative experience including budgets and procurement.
• At least two years of project management or coordination experience.
• A combination of education and experience.

Responsabilités

• Office support and clerical work.
• Assist with maintenance and organization of financial records and grants.
• Assist with grant discovery, drafting, and reporting.
• Prepare, procure, and maintain contracts and agreements.
• Coordinate and attend open space advisory board meetings and records.
• Lead development and coordination of volunteer programs.
• Administer budgets, schedules, and scopes of work for projects.
• Engage the public through community outreach and campaigns.
• Design and update content for Lov NR websites and social channels.
• Organize meetings, events, and workshops; support compliance with laws.
• Assist with general operations and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
