OCI Energy LLC is seeking a Real Estate Development Manager to drive landowner outreach and lead acquisition efforts for solar and energy storage projects in a growing organization. The role requires engaging property owners, presenting development opportunities, and coordinating with development managers to advance discussions.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in land acquisition, proven negotiation and relationship-building skills, and proficiency with GIS and data sources to identify land
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in land acquisition or real estate.
- Experience in land acquisition and development processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven negotiation skills with landowners.
- Ability to identify land ownership using deeds, plat books, tax rolls and online databases.
- Knowledge of GIS and prospecting tools; ability to maintain records of outreach and engagements.
Responsabilités
- Lead landowner outreach to lease and acquire land.
- Research parcel ownership and contact information.
- Initiate contact with landowners by calls, texts, and emails.
- Conduct in-person visits to landowner properties when needed.
- Explain development opportunities and benefits to landowners.
- Transition engaged landowners to developers for project discussions.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach and engagements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and outreach best practices.
