Job summary

OCI Energy LLC is seeking a Land Outreach Intern in San Antonio, TX to support the project development team. The internship provides hands-on experience in renewable energy development and tenant outreach with experienced professionals.

The role focuses on identifying landowners, researching sites, and aiding in lease discussions, market analysis, and data management to advance OCI Energy's solar and storage projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience or coursework in market research, analytics, renewable energy, real estate, or related field is preferred.
• Strong research, analytical, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to clearly communicate findings and recommendations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to engage professionally with a variety of stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Use research tools, public records, and online resources to identify and locate prospective landowners and gather information on potential project sites.
• Develop background profiles on landowners and properties to support land acquisition efforts.
• Contact landowners to introduce OCI Energy projects and facilitate discussions regarding potential lease opportunities.
• Conduct market and landowner research to support land outreach strategies and project development efforts.
• Coordinate with the Land Outreach team to stay informed on active lease discussions and project activities.
• Maintain and update landowner, property, and market prospecting databases.
• Assist with organizing outreach materials, tracking landowner communications, and maintaining accurate project records.
• Prepare summaries, reports, and presentations related to outreach activities and market research findings.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
