West Star Aviation in Grand Junction, CO is seeking a DAS Landing Gear Technician for 2nd shift. This full-time, on-site role involves inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling and testing landing gear components across various aircraft models.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, either independently or as part of a team, following FAA and manufacturer specifications. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, mechanical aptitude, and a readiness to learn; A&P license is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; aviation maintenance background preferred.
• Associate's degree in related field preferred.
• A&P license helpful but not required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Overhauls and repairs landing gear systems.
• Troubleshoot and inspect gear components.
• Learn new overhaul procedures.
• Work as a team or independently.
• Maintain shop equipment and adhere to safety rules.
• Complete accurate records per FAA and manufacturer.
