DAS Aviation in Grand Junction, CO is seeking a Landing Gear Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, overhaul and test landing gear components across multiple aircraft models. This fast-paced role requires hands-on mechanical work and meticulous attention to detail, with the flexibility to work solo or as part of a team while adhering to FAA and manufacturer specifications.

You will operate in a safe, clean shop environment, use PPE, and contribute to accurate recordkeeping and ongoing equipment

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent; aviation maintenance education preferred.
• Landing Gear overhaul/repair experience preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail; able to follow FAA guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Perform overhauls and repairs on a wide variety of landing gear systems.
• Troubleshoot and inspect different landing gear components.
• Maintain records of repairs per FAA and manufacturer requirements.
• Work as a team or independently as required by the project.
• Follow all safety rules and use PPE; keep shop and equipment maintained.
