Job summary

JOST is seeking an Assembly Team Member in Grand Haven, MI to support the manufacturing of landing gear and related components. You will perform assembly tasks according to standard work instructions and quality standards, while maintaining safe operations and daily training logs.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, dexterity, and the ability to work across multiple stations with a team, rotating as needed to cover all areas. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment safely.
• Must have a high degree of attention to detail and be dependable.
• Capable of using hand and power tools including grinding tools.
• Mechanically inclined or have prior assembly experience.
• Must understand and strictly abide by Work Instructions (WI).
• Ability to learn, cross-train and rotate between assembly stations.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to log and complete training documents.

Responsibilities

• Assemble landing gear legs and components accurately and efficiently.
• Follow all standard work and WI’s without deviation.
• Work well with others and contribute to the assembly team’s success.
• Log and complete training documents as required.
• Perform tasks safely per established safety rules and procedures.
• Rotate through positions on the assembly line and gain proficiency.
• Communicate courteously with coworkers, supervisors and other teams.
• Accept additional duties as assigned and integral to the role.
