Qualifications

• Licenses as required by Local, State, Federal, Environmental and/or Health/Safety Regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Directs the flow of trucks at the landfill entrance during peak times.
• Manually picks up windblown paper and lifts refuse into a bag.
• Operates a mobile vacuum to gather loose paper and debris along the landfill perimeter.
• Lifts construction materials and uses hand tools such as shovels, picks, axes and chainsaws as needed.
• Separates metal, white goods, lumber and cardboard from trash at the tipping floor.
