Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Operator – Heavy Equipment to safely operate equipment at a recycling center, landfill or transfer station, performing pre/post inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

You will manage equipment like forklift, excavator, bulldozer, front-end loader, and related maintenance tasks while documenting reports and maintaining a clean, organized work area at shift end.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• OSHA-site experience within the last year is preferred.
• Commitment to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (forklift, excavator, bulldozer, front-end loader) safely.
• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections and report issues.
• Complete Equipment Condition Reports and maintain clean, serviced areas.
• Follow safety policies and keep the site orderly at shift end.
