Job summary

Magrym Consulting, Inc. in Midland, TX is seeking a Project Manager to oversee land surveying projects from initiation to completion, coordinating field crews, survey technicians, and clients to ensure on-time delivery and accuracy.

You will manage the full project lifecycle, review data and descriptions for accuracy, track budgets and change orders, and ensure compliance with licensing boards and local permits. Strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in land surveying, civil engineering, or construction project management.
• Familiarity with boundary, topographic, ALTA/ACSM, and construction staking surveys.
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or similar survey/CAD software.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Understanding of platting, subdivision, and municipal permitting processes a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee land surveying projects from initiation through completion.
• Coordinate field crews, survey technicians, and clients to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with survey crews and CAD/drafting staff to align field and office work.
• Review survey data, plats, and legal descriptions for accuracy.
• Track project budgets, invoicing milestones, and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with licensing boards and local regulations.
• Manage project documentation, permits, and easement research.
• Identify scheduling conflicts and resource needs across active projects.
• Support proposal/bid preparation for new projects.
