Job summary

Magrym Consulting, Inc. seeks a Project Manager/RPLS to oversee land surveying projects from initiation to completion. You will coordinate field crews, technicians, and clients to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant deliverables.

Responsibilities include scoping, scheduling, budget tracking, and reviews of surveys, plats, and legal descriptions, with a focus on regulatory compliance and effective communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in land surveying, civil engineering, or construction project management.
• Familiarity with boundary, topographic, ALTA/ACSM, and construction staking surveys.
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or similar survey/CAD software preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must have an active Texas RPLS license.

Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle: scoping, scheduling, field coordination, and final deliverable review
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, providing regular status updates
• Coordinate with survey crews and CAD/drafting staff to keep field and office work aligned
• Review survey data, plats, and legal descriptions for accuracy prior to client delivery
• Track project budgets, invoicing milestones, and change orders
• Ensure compliance with state licensing boards, local platting/subdivision regulations, and utility coordination requirements (e.g., 811/call-before-you-dig)
• Manage project documentation, permits, and easement research
• Identify scheduling conflicts and resource needs across active projects
• Support proposal/bid preparation for new projects/
