UELS, LLC in California is seeking a motivated Land Surveying Assistant to support field crews with boundary surveys and staking. The role is outdoors, with long days and physical activity. You will load equipment, assist with GPS base setup, and ensure safety procedures are followed.
The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of surveying support experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license with clean MVR, and a strong work ethic. Drug screening may be required.

This position supports a Surveyor while performing boundary surveys and staking. We are looking for a motivated individual who likes to be out in "the field" and is dedicated, loyal, hard-working, and gets satisfaction out of a full day's work.
To give you an idea of what the day looks like:
Education: High School Diploma / GED Knowledge: 6+ months experience as a Surveying Assistant (Preferred)
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Additional: Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift 75 lbs. Honest, Professional, Organized, Pays Attention to detail, Dependability, Thoroughness, Documentation Skills, Inventory Control, Safety Conscious, Strong Work Ethic, Self-driven with little or no supervision. Must have current and valid drivers license with MVR that meets Company requirements. Must be willing and able to enroll in a drug & alcohol screening and criminal background program.
Working Conditions: Mental and physical labor is a part of this job. Working conditions are mostly outdoor and the job is subject to extreme weather conditions. Must be able to walk for long periods of time and/or operate ATV’s through a variety of terrains.
Driver's License and clean driving record required.
