Hudbay Minerals U.S. Business Unit seeks a Land Analyst to support surface rights, mineral claims, water rights, and real estate records in the Western U.S. You will assist with land title research, agreement drafting, regulatory filings, and data management under the Land Manager.

You will work closely with GIS and operations teams, ensuring 100% compliance with deadlines and maintaining accurate land ownership records across active mining and exploration assets.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required in related field.
• 0-3 years land, paralegal, real estate, or natural resources experience; mining/oil & gas internships are a strong plus.
• AAPL Active Member or candidate toward RPL status preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain land management databases (leases, mining claims, surface agreements, rights-of-way, water rights).
• Track deadlines for federal claim maintenance fees and state land lease payments to ensure compliance.
• Conduct preliminary land title research and assemble historical land documents for review.
• Prepare correspondence and documentation for landowners and agencies.
• Draft standard land documents, easements, and land status summaries using templates.
• Coordinate with GIS to update land ownership maps and tenure status for teams.
• Assist with contract review, filing of corporate documents, and other real property matters.
