Job summary

Hudbay USA is seeking a detail‑oriented Land Analyst to support land and natural resources operations in the Western U.S. You will manage land records, leases, and water rights, assist with title research, and help draft agreements under the Land Manager.

Collaboration with GIS and external land brokers will be required. The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and proactive communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 0-3 years of land, paralegal, real estate, or natural resources experience (internships are a plus).
• AAPL Active Member or candidate toward RPL status preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage land records, databases, leases, and water rights.
• Assist in federal/state/land compliance tracking for maintenance fees and lease obligations.
• Conduct preliminary land title research and assemble documents for review.
• Prepare correspondence and notices for landowners and agencies.
• Draft standard land documents, easements, and rights-of-entry.
• Collaborate with GIS to update ownership maps and tenure status maps.
• Support other land-related projects and document filing.
