Qualifikationen

• Must have at least 2 years of clerical experience working with the public.
• Extensive knowledge of legal land descriptions and documents.
• Ability to interpret legal descriptions and chain of title.
• Skilled in drafting and map reading.

Aufgaben

• Determine and maintain ownership of parcels in Lake County tract books.
• Organize, process, research and assist the public and other agencies in land documentation.
• Post and file subdivisions, certificates of surveys, or amended plats and scan them into the system.
• Check maps and input accuracy in GIS department files.
• Investigate and resolve problems with documents; preserve records for reference.
• Assist Title Companies, Attorneys, and other departments with problematic documents.
