Job summary

The Montana Department of Revenue's Property Assessment Division seeks a Property Record Specialist to ensure accurate property values are recorded, updated, and certified for annual property tax billings.

You will support taxpayers, county officials, and stakeholders by maintaining reliable property records, processing ownership and sale information, and assisting with taxpayer programs and appeals.

Qualifications

• One year of post-secondary education or training on day one.
• One year of job-related experience in property, records, or related fields.
• Experience with property assessments or tax administration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update property records and valuations for each county.
• Assist with ownership transfers, sales information, and appeals processes.
