Job summary

Bohler Engineering Group in Warrenton, VA is seeking a Project Manager who can lead complex land development projects from concept to completion. You will oversee design, permitting, scheduling, and budgeting while serving as the primary client contact and guiding internal teams to success.

The role requires 10+ years of civil/site design experience, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage budgets and contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of civil/site design and permitting experience in land development.
• Proven success in managing project delivery and client relationships.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience overseeing budgets, contracts, and staff development.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater design software.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project delivery, including design, permitting, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Serve as the primary client contact and ensure expectations are met through clear communication and proactive leadership.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Assistant Project Managers and technical staff.
• Oversee financial performance, including contracts, invoicing, and change management.
• Present at public hearings, client meetings, and community sessions as needed.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on business development and account growth.
• Promote quality control, innovation, and continuous improvement within your team.
