Job summary

Bohler in Melville, NY seeks a Project Manager to lead complex land development projects from concept to completion, balancing design quality, client satisfaction, and financial performance. You will guide internal teams, manage budgets, schedules, and risk while serving as the primary client contact and presenting at hearings.

This role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 10+ years of experience, strong leadership and communication, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater design

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline and 10+ years of civil/site design experience.
• Proven track record delivering land development projects and managing client relationships.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience overseeing budgets, contracts, and staff development.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater design software; PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project delivery from design through permitting, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Serve as primary client contact and ensure expectations are met through clear communication and leadership.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Assistant Project Managers and technical staff.
• Oversee financial performance including contracts, invoicing, and change management.
• Present at public hearings, client meetings, and community sessions; collaborate on business development.
