Job summary

Bohler Engineering Group in Warrenton, VA is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (Land Development) to advance civil engineering projects and mentor junior staff.

You will coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams, oversee site design and permitting, and collaborate with clients and municipalities to deliver high-quality land development solutions. Relocation support may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of site design and jurisdictional permitting experience.
• Experience coordinating with clients and municipalities.

Responsibilities

• Support project management activities including scoping, proposals, schedules, and resource planning.
• Oversee site plan packages, grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control.
• Coordinate permitting with clients, municipalities, and agencies.
• Prepare contracts, change orders, and client invoices; track financials.
• Collaborate with clients, attorneys, contractors, and subconsultants for project success.
• Mentor junior staff and share technical knowledge.
