D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Land Development Project Manager in Chantilly, VA to lead land development activities and manage vendors and contractors for raw land preparation and amenities. The role focuses on delivering finished lots on schedule while ensuring compliance and quality.

Responsibilities include coordinating with officials, engineers, and subcontractors, overseeing bidding and contracts, and maintaining project documentation and budgets. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• Three years of related experience in civil construction, landscaping, irrigation, or hardscape installation.
• Must have a vehicle and valid driver's license.
• Proficient in scheduling software and MS Office.
• Ability to apply common sense and follow instructions.
• Proficient in email communication.

Responsibilities

• Review civil improvement plans and project specs to deliver finished lots for construction.
• Oversee development and scheduling of infrastructure installation and site work.
• Coordinate with city officials, engineers, and utility companies.
• Track milestones and communicate delays to stakeholders.
• Interact with subcontractors and manage bid processes and contract scope.
