Job summary
Prince William County Government is seeking a Land Development Project Manager to lead and manage land development site plan projects and coordinate with engineers, site inspectors, and developers. The role includes resolving engineering, ordinance, proffer, and code issues, with responsibilities to respond to requests and provide input on codes and guidance documents.
The position allows a 1-2 day telework option after probation, with a standard 37.5 hour week and potential in-office scheduling
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED and 6 years of related experience.
- Experience with land development approvals, plan and regulatory review, and coordination with developers.
- Project management experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage Land Development Site Plan projects.
- Proactively resolve engineering, ordinance, proffer, and other Code issues.
- Respond to information requests.
- Provide input to updates of County Codes and guidance documents.
- Conduct site visits.
- Resolve engineering and field issues with Engineers and Site Inspectors.
- Research projects.
