This hybrid role focuses on leading land development projects, coordinating design and permitting, and delivering high-quality results for diverse sectors. You will manage client relations, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with state codes while guiding projects from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible land development engineering experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Virginia or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office; MS Project and GIS software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil design and land development projects, including site layout and stormwater.
• Serve as primary client and regulator liaison, ensuring requirements are met.
• Prepare, review, and approve designs, specs, and permitting materials.
• Coordinate tasks with internal teams, consultants, and contractors during design and construction.
• Develop proposals, budgets, and schedules; support business development.
• Mentor junior team members and promote quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with Virginia regulations and development codes.
