Job summary

Conrad Consulting is seeking a Project Engineer (EIT) to support and lead technical delivery across residential, industrial, retail, mixed-use, healthcare, education, and recreational projects. You’ll own design work, assist with permitting/entitlements, keep projects on schedule/budget, and mentor junior staff as you grow.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Civil Engineering, an active EIT, 3+ years of land development/site civil experience, and strong knowledge of local codes.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• EIT certification (FE pass).
• 3+ years of land development/site civil experience.
• Strong knowledge of local development codes (public & private).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office (Unanet a plus).
• Strong writing, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce civil/site design deliverables: layouts, grading, utilities, drainage, detention.
• Support permitting and entitlements with agencies.
• Prepare engineering calculations, feasibility studies, and master planning support.
• Develop Engineer’s Opinion of Probable Cost (EOPC) and assist with specifications.
• Support plan production through final construction documents and construction-phase support.
• Coordinate with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Assist with proposals and client-facing/business development activities.
• Support project controls: schedules, budgets, billing, and A/R coordination.
• Mentor staff engineers.
