Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs in Raleigh seeks a Civil Engineer to lead design aspects and address engineering issues across projects, supporting project teams and clients. You will prepare project documents and proposals, finalize deliverables such as site plans, engineering reports, cost estimates, schedules, permit applications, and due diligence reports; conduct site visits and analyze survey data.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, grading design, technical writing, 3-D modeling, MS Office, and plan

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2-4 years of experience in civil engineering, with experience leading design aspects of development projects preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Grading Design, Technical Writing, 3-D Modeling, MS Office, and Plan Interpretation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with project teams and clients to prepare project documents and proposals.

• Communicate effectively with clients, municipalities, and agencies under the direction of the Project Manager.
• Update Project Manager and Team Leader on workload status.
• Apply fundamental engineering concepts to practical situations.
