Job summary

ESP Associates, Inc. is seeking a Land Development Project Designer for the Fort Smith, AR office. The role designs site development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D, prepares construction documents, and coordinates with the project team to meet schedules and budgets.

Requirements include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture and 2+ years of civil design experience. Candidates should have knowledge of site planning, regulations, and strong communication and writing

BS in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture required.
2+ years of civil design experience required.
Knowledge of site planning, regulations, and procedures.
Strong communication, writing, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Develop construction documents for site development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Coordinate with the project team to meet schedules and budgets.
Complete plan review comments from internal QC and city reviews.
Assist Project Engineer, Landscape Architects, and Project Managers with technical specifications.
Prepare written communications, applications, and reports.
Ensure project compliance with municipal zoning, geotechnical reports, and codes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify development opportunities and constraints.
Prepare for and participate in client meetings.
