CPH, a multi-disciplinary engineering and architectural design firm in Sanford, FL, seeks a Project Designer - Land Development. The role supports on-site layout, grading and construction coordination for large commercial developments under a licensed engineer.

Strong CAD skills and team collaboration are essential. Ideal candidates have entry to mid-level experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Adobe Suite, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is required.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and MS Office.
• Knowledge of drafting standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate presentation, design, and construction documents using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, designers, consultants and clients.
• Interpret codes, regulations and client requirements to guide design.
• Apply CAD standards, templates and quality controls to ensure consistency.
• Calculate quantities and areas for land development designs.
• Travel to site for measurements and prepare reports and exhibits.
• Assist in compiling construction plans and ensure timely submissions.
