Job summary

G L Homes of Florida Corporation is seeking a Land Development Coordinator to assist Land Development Managers with administrative and accounting tasks, manage a field office, and coordinate bid packages, permits, and vendor activities.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in construction/land development or 1 year in a related accounting dept., with strong Excel skills, accounts payable knowledge, and the ability to multitask. Flexibility for extended hours is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in Construction and/or Land Development, OR 1 year in accounting dept. of related industry.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; experience with accounts payable.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work functions.
• Capable of independent and team work environments; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist Land Development Managers with administrative and accounting tasks.
• Prepare bid packages, contracts, change orders, and permit applications.
• Process vendor packages and payments, maintain budgets and projections.
• Enter monthly invoices into accounting system; release liens.
• Update monthly project budgets and land development data.
• Coordinate documents, plan reproductions, and office supplies.
• Open and track utility accounts; manage field office operations.
• Work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Support management with miscellaneous duties as assigned.
