Job summary

Fishbeck is seeking a Land Development Intern to support our civil engineering team across regional Michigan offices. You will research project sites, assist feasibility studies, and help draft site plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

As an enrolled Civil Engineering student, you will gain hands-on experience with design development, site visits, and project documentation, all while benefiting from our flexible hybrid schedule and employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering program.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required.

Location: Regional Michigan Offices

Employment Type: Full-Time Internship

Working with our Land Development team, you will research project sites, assist with feasibility studies, and work on site plans and layouts.

What You’ll Do

• Research development sites, zoning, and environmental factors.
• Assist with feasibility studies and due diligence reports.
• Collaborate on site plans and design layouts.
• Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to draft real project designs.
• Join site visits to see how designs come to life.
• Help maintain project documentation and reports.

What We’re Looking For

• Enrolled in a Civil Engineering program.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Previous internship or field experience is helpful but not required.
