SEH is seeking a client-focused Civil Engineer/Project Manager for the land development team in Charlottesville, VA. The role focuses on managing and delivering complex land development projects for key clients within Virginia and beyond.

Base compensation ranges from six figures, with opportunities for growth through professional licensure, project leadership, and an expanding workload across the region. Eligible candidates should reside in or relocate to Charlottesville area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Virginia.
• Experience in land development or municipal projects.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor staff and manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and direct land development projects for clients.
• Maintain close relationships with clients throughout development and after completion.
• Prepare project approaches, scopes and fees required to complete projects.
• Present proposals to clients, interviewing for projects, and selecting project teams.
• Determine major project design decisions in conjunction with client.
